LIP TATTOO

Lip tattooing will not give you cold sores however it can induce an outbreak if you have ever had a cold sore the virus remains latent within your system. If you’ve ever had a cold sore it is essential to take a preventative medication recommended by a healthcare professional. Some pharmacists recommend Flamvr (anti viral medication).

4-7 days to heal, and 4-8 weeks for the true colour to come through. If you’ve ever had a cold sore it is essential to take a preventative medication recommended by a healthcare professional. Some pharmacists recommend Flamvr (anti viral medication).

Lip tattooing can enhance the lip shape however, the skin texture differs outside of the vermillion border so may heal uneven in colour and will fade unevenly long term, so this is not ideal. I recommend considering cosmetic injectable fillers if you’re priority is for fuller looking lips. It’s essential to arrange a consultation prior to booking an appointment, if you are considering lip tattooing for bigger lips.

Lip tattooing can correct lip shape however, the skin texture differs outside of the vermillion border so may heal uneven in colour. It’s likely to require extra treatments if correctional work is required. The same applies to tattooing scar tissue. It’s essential to arrange a consultation prior to booking an appointment, if you require correctional work.

If you’re going to have filler, it’s better to wait until after your tattooing has completely healed, and after your touch up. Any inflammation attracted to the area (from having a procedure) can accelerate the removal of product (filler or pigment) so you should wait at least 21 days post or prior.

Laser hair removal aims to target the dark or pigmented colour in hair follicles however if it reaches tattoo pigment it will burn it. It’s best to avoid LHR on any areas near tattooing however, a white pencil or cotton pad placed over the top of your tattooing will deflect the laser and protect your tattoos. Advise your skin therapist about any cosmetic tattooing before undergoing any laser or IPL treatments

We make the treatment as comfortable as possible with numbing products.

Depending on colour choice and lifestyle factors, tattooed lip blush can last from 2-4 years.

LASH & BROW STYLING (LASH LIFTS)

It is safe to have a lash lift while pregnant however, you are required to lie flat for up to an hour for the treatment.  If you are heavily pregnant this be uncomfortable for you, which we would prefer to avoid. Also, pregnancy has been known to affect the growth rate and texture of hair and eyelashes, so in some circumstances may result in less of a lift than usual.

We offer a range of different rod size options to choose from throughout your lash appointment however, the type of curl may be limited depending on the length of your natural lashes.

It is recommended to remove your contact lenses during your lash lifting service for optimal comfort.

All lash extensions must be removed prior to a lash lift.

45 minutes - 1 hour. Most of this time is the solution developing time so we are able to discount the treatment if it’s added onto another treatment service at the time of your appointment.

A lash lift can last anywhere from 6-12 weeks, depending on an individuals hair growth cycle.

Lash lifts are not at all painful, the treatment is known to be quite relaxing. All our lash lifting services come with a free nap

Lash lifting does not harm or damage natural lashes. The ingredients including keratin and lanolin are nourishing and may actually help to strengthen your lashes. A skin patch test is recommended to check for any allergic reactions

LASH & BROW STYLING (BROW TINTS)

It is best to avoid wetting your brows for 24 hours after any brow tinting service, to ensure optimal results.

A tint is best for darkening your natural hair, whereas, henna focuses more on creating a skin stain to improve shape and add the appearance of fullness to your brows. Also, Henna is a chemical free alternative to tinting.

Yes, research indicated that the chemicals found in semi-permanent hair dyes are NOT highly toxic, therefore are deemed safe to use during pregnancy.

A brow tint darkens the hair as well as stains the skin to create the illusion of thickness and to fill in sparse areas. The strength and duration of the skin stain varies depending on your skin type. Usually, a skin stain from tinting will last 1-2 weeks, whereas the tint on your natural hair can around 4 weeks.

EYELINER TATTOO

We recommend black as it will offer the most impact to enhancing your lash area however, we do have a range of colours to choose from or blend. Black, brown-black, brown, charcoal, green, orange, red, pink, purple, and taupe.

Once healed (4-9 days) you can resume wearing eye makeup on the area. We recommend avoiding makeup until healed due to risk of infection. We also recommend having your lashes tinted 3-5 days prior to your eyeliner appointment.

Top eyeliner is the most commonly requested however we do also offer the lower lash line as well with our Principal Artist only. All techniques including smoky lash and luxe lash liners are available for both areas.

Lash line enhancement is the most subtle, if follows the lash line and fills between the lashes to give an appearance of fullness. We offer Luxe liners as well which is winged eyeliner with some microshading or you can request for a smoky lash liner which is more pixilated for an ultra soft smudge look. More info and pics available here.

I’ve seen this a lot with old eyeliners applied in countries that use permanent body-Art ink on the face. We customise a blend to prevent the black ink from fading to blue (unless blue black has been specifically requested). We also use a semi-permanent pigment that is designed to fade out of the skin before discolouration occurs.

Usually our darkest pigment colours are used such as black, brown-black, blue-black or charcoal. These colours take the longest to fade so it should last anywhere between 3-5 years. Book in a consultation for more info here. https://myrejuvenate.gettimely.com/book

Your Artist will have great control over the eyelid area, you could almost do somersaults and it won’t affect our ability to safely achieve a great result. When you attend for a consultation/treatment we will happily demonstrate the gentle yet firm pressure we hold your eyelid with during a procedure. Book in a consultation for more info here https://myrejuvenate.gettimely.com/book

At My Rejuvenate we request that you don’t have lash extensions when you attend for eyeliner tattooing. The glue is a contamination risk, it’s also more difficult to produce a crispy final result and it’s uncomfortable for you as the client to have constant wiping at the eyelid when lash extensions are attached. Book in a consultation for more info here https://myrejuvenate.gettimely.com/book

If you wear contact lenses, they should be removed prior to having eyeliner tattooing. If you have glasses I recommend bringing them to your appointment so that you don’t need to touch the eyelids to put contact lenses back in. Due to risk of infection, it is essential that you avoid touching freshly tattooed skin. Book in a consultation for more info here https://myrejuvenate.gettimely.com/book

Other than minor puffiness, your ability to see clearly or drive will not be affected. Healing takes 4-7 days in total. We advise that you do not use lash enhancing serums or reapply lash extensions for at least 4 weeks post final treatment. See pics of before and immediately after tattooing here.

Yes. Other than minor puffiness, your ability to see clearly or drive will not be affected. See pics of before and immediately after tattooing here

This procedure is painless, please inquire directly about our recommended numbing solutions. Eyeliner is the most comfortable of all cosmetic tattooing procedures; you can expect to feel minor vibrations and gentle wiping at the eyelid area.  After a while the wiping becomes irritating but its otherwise reasonably comfortable. The wiping is to clean away the black ink, we work very superficially, it’s unlikely you’ll experience any bleeding. Minor puffiness may become present but is unlikely until the next morning. Eyeliner heals within 4-7 days. To find out more book a consultation here.

Usually the worst thing that can happen is that the pigment/ink may not take to the skin, causing it to heal too light or not hold at all. Microblade feathering is the most delicate technique so if there is an issue it will normally be with this method and we can reassess at the touch up whether it’s better to proceed with a machine applied technique such as powder/ombre. How pigment holds in the skin is uniquely dependent on what is happening under your own skin. You can compare it to taking medication for example; A medicine that works perfectly for one person may not work for another. For more info, book in a free consult with one of our Artists so we can discuss more. Mature skin with a lot of movement presents natural asymmetry’s, especially within the brow area. While we endeavour to correct this for our clients, we are unable to place the brows so that they balance for every facial expression. We recommend considering muscle relaxing cosmetic injections for clients who have a lot of movement and want improved symmetry. Due to the precise nature or our work, and the careful steps of mapping the brows and obtaining approval, shape is never an issue.

Feathering looks good straight away however will be darker then desired for 6-9 days until healed. Powder/ombre techniques go super intense in colour at first however the healed result is beautiful soft and natural looking. Minor scabs will form and about Day-5 they will start to flake off, you can apply brow product to balance the appearance of any gaps. It’s unlikely that you will experience any redness or swelling.

We got this down pat so that it's not painful. Please inquire about our recommended numbing products and compounding pharmacy details. The pigment is very superficially implanted, (unlike body art tattooing) so it’s not deep. The machine methods (powder/ ombre brows) are actually quite relaxing however the microblade feathering can sound a little bit creepy. The sound is from when the little needles flick each other however this is often mistaken for the sound of scratching. For more info, book in a free consult with one of our Artists so we can discuss more.

We take careful steps to ensure that doesn’t happen. First we draw, shape, and measure according to the natural flow of your facial features. We gain your approval of the shape before we proceed. Colour is custom blended for you, and we include a touch up*, so we can afford to be more conservative with the first treatment and go bolder at the touch up (if you want to). In the unlikely event you would like your cosmetic tattoos removed this is a service we offer also, with the Principal Artist only. Removal is performed by tattooing the area with a non-toxic, saline solution which lifts the pigment out of the skin. This is a gentle and effective method for lightening or removing cosmetic tattoos. *A free touch up is only included with new client treatments and is not included for model/student pricing. For student treatments we do offer the touch up treatment at the same discounted model and is booked in with a Senior Artist.

We recommend allowing the colour to fade as much as possible before returning for a refresh. For the long-term benefit of your skin, and to avoid a build-up of pigment/ink saturation in the skin, it’s better to avoid coming too regularly or too soon for refresh treatments. More info about pricing here.

Every skin type is different, it depends on your own skin and lifestyle factors, also the choice of technique and colour. We like to generally suggest from 6months - 2years. Due to changes in trend, and changes to our skin, we do not apply 'permanent' ink like what is used for body art. Microblade feathering is the most delicate technique so will not last as long as a Powder or Ombre brow which is applied by layering colour into the skin using a digital machine. Light colours will typically fade faster then dark colours. We recommend having the colour refreshed every few years, or whenever the brows are significantly faded. Colour refreshes for our existing clients only are cheaper pricing. More info about pricing here.

We brow map according to the natural flow and ratio of your facial features. FIRST we draw and you must approve the shape before we proceed.  Colour is custom blended for you. We work within two shades of your natural brow hair colour and skin tones.  Our pigments ranges from light blonde to dark brunette in warm or cool shades. Eyebrow tattooing is a two-part process; the initial treatment then a touch-up at 4-8 weeks. We are always more conservative with the first treatment, then at the touch up you can choose to go darker, thicker or bolder, or simply perfect what was already created. Examples our work can be found in our gallery here.

At the time of your appointment we go through pictures and examples similar to your own,  we explain in greater detail the different techniques and healed outcomes.  Your Artist will make a recommendation based on your outcome goals, we aim to produce the most natural result. Techniques may be combined to suit your unique requirements. Once you confirm your preference the shape is first measured and drawn for your approval. Colour is custom blended to suit your natural skin tones and brow colour.  Our recommendation is based on the outcome you like, and suitability of your skin and brows. More info about our techniques found here.

We have 3 levels of Artist choices, each level is priced differently and depends on the amount of experience of the Artist; Our Principal Artist is the owner and trainer, Talina Johnson.  Senior Artists have more than 2 years experience, are trained by and work closely with Talina. Student Artists are either students working under the direct guidance of Talina Johnson or, completed their training with Talina and are currently building their portfolio. Student/model bookings are priced at 150 per session, the touch up is booked in with a Senior. More info about our Artists found here.

Dermal Filler

Results can be seen immediately after your treatment and will gradually improve over the following 2–4 weeks. Results can last between 6-24 months although optimal results can be maintained over a long period of time through regular repeated treatments, so you never have to stop looking and feeling your best. The longevity of the treatment varies from person to person depending on your individual requirements and the particular dermal filler being administered.

The procedure is generally not painful if you choose a skilled injector. Most of the time, basic dermal filler procedures don’t require anaesthetic as the filler already contains local anaesthetic. It is a straight-forward procedure involving a few tiny injections directly into your skin, taking between 15-30 minutes. You may return straight back to work.

Our face loses volume and contour as we age, the bones and the soft tissue dissolve increasing the appearance of sagging. Dermal fillers can be used to replace this loss of volume and restore the structural support, giving a more youthful appearance. The aim of filler is to rejuvenate your face. For example, lips can be injected to improve their shape, size, symmetry and proportion. Cheek area can be injected to improve definition and improve the appearance of heaviness and sagginess in the lower face. An underdeveloped chin can be injected to make it appear more projected and proportionate.

There are minimal risks associated with dermal fillers, most of which can be avoided by choosing an experienced injector, such as our nursing professional at my rejuvanate. All our dermal fillers are TGA-approved for adding volume to the skin in patients over 18 years of age

Dermal fillers are substances injected beneath the skin’s surface to smooth wrinkles and add volume and contour. The products are composed of stabilised hyaluronic acid (HA) which occurs naturally in the cells of the skin. It works by drawing in water and therefore augmenting the skin, thus reducing wrinkles.

ANTI WRINKLE INJECTION

While most people aged 18 to 65 are excellent candidates for antiwrinkle relaxers, you should not use this treatment if you meet any of the following: Are pregnant or breastfeeding Have a skin infection or other condition in the area to be treated Are allergic to any ingredients (botulinum toxin) Have difficulty swallowing And more... If you have any concerns as to whether or not you may be a good candidate, our cosmetic nurse Marjan will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

For most of our clients, the effects of the treatment can last anywhere from 3-6 months. Many factors can influence how long the effects last. As the product wears off, muscle action returns gradually, & the previously treated lines & wrinkles may begin to reappear and need to be treated again. With repeated treatment, the lines and wrinkles often appear less severe than before, as the muscles are being trained to relax. Some of these factors that may shorten or lengthen the effects include: Your age The condition of your skin and level of sun damage Your facial structure and expressions Your diet Past experience with wrinkle relaxers And more...

You may begin to notice results within 4-6 days with the maximum effect visible at 2 weeks. Results may vary.

Forehead (surprise lines) Frown or worry lines Crow’s feet or laughter lines Masseter area - ‘Re-sculpting’ a square jawline, softening your appearance and preventing and treating the grinding of teeth Hyperhidrosis - Excessive sweating of the underarms

Antiwrinkle treatments are TGA-approved and injections are safe when performed by an experienced injector. It has proven to be a successful and valuable therapeutic protein when dosage, frequency of treatment & variety of treated clinical conditions are considered. The best way to ensure you receive the results you are looking for is to only receive injections from a highly experienced provider, such as the medical and nursing professionals at my rejuvenate.
